- What is actually stored on an employee record?
- Their profile and contact details, role, department, manager, contract type and dates, documents, attendance and leave balance, pay details, and performance history. Everything that makes up their employment, kept in one place from their first day to their last.
- What happens when someone is hired?
- A hired candidate carries forward into an employee record rather than being re-entered. What you already know from the hiring process is there on day one, and onboarding continues from the same record.
- Who can see an employee’s information?
- The account owner, administrators, and the managers you grant access to. Each employee sees their own record and nobody else’s, and every account is fully isolated from other organisations on the platform.
- How are leave requests handled?
- An employee requests leave from their own account, it goes to the right approver, and once approved the balance and the record update automatically. Approved unpaid leave also carries through to payroll.
- What happens when an employee leaves?
- Their access is revoked from the same place it was granted, and their record is retained according to your policy and any legal retention requirements that apply, so your history stays intact and compliant.
